Statement from Home for Good

We endorse the Government’s Homes for Ukraine scheme to welcome those fleeing the war into safe and supportive communities

Home for Good has witnessed first-hand the extraordinary impact when individuals and families across the UK open their homes to those who need a safe place to be. We endorse the Government’s Homes for Ukraine scheme to provide safe and supportive communities for those fleeing the war. We encourage people to engage with this scheme to offer stability to vulnerable Ukrainian families. We have also seen the power of the local church in wrapping around those who need extra support and are deeply moved by the compassion and hospitality of churches across the UK who are stepping forward to offer help and bring communities together in response to this crisis.
