Peer-to-peer support

There is nothing like sharing with others who have the same first-hand experience as you, and who just ‘get it’. Home for Good wants to facilitate peer-to-peer support wherever possible, to ensure that all foster carers and adoptive parents are part of a community of support with those who understand.

Through our champions and local movements, we are connected with carers and parents throughout the UK. If you would like to get in touch with someone in your area, call our enquiry team on 0300 001 0995 and we will seek to link you up.

A group of our wonderful champions also administrate an excellent online support hub for Christian foster carers and adoptive parents through Facebook. To ensure the group remains secure, it is not found through searches. If you would like to be part of this group, contact us and we will connect you with the group administrators.

Alongside this, there are peer-to-peer support groups connected to Home for Good throughout the country. Find out if there are support groups in your area here.
