Home for Good appoints new Chair of Trustees
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Simon Blake.
Home for Good is delighted to announce the appointment of Simon Blake as the new permanent Chair of Trustees. A Chartered Accountant by profession, Simon has decades of experience in corporate financial management and providing strategic expertise to small and medium-sized enterprises and charities.
As the outgoing Chair at Stewardship and an adoptive parent to two teenage sons, Simon brings a wealth of strategic insight and personal passion for ensuring that every child and young person in the care system is provided with the home that they need. Speaking about his appointment, Simon shared:
“I am delighted to be appointed Chair of Trustees. As parents of two adopted boys and considering fostering as well, my wife and I have been delighted to support Home for Good since it was founded and I am honoured to have the opportunity to work with the team in taking Home for Good into its next phase of growth”.
Simon will be taking over the role from Anna Laszlo who has been the interim Chair since January 2022 alongside her ongoing responsibilities as Chair of Tearfund.
Tarn Bright, CEO of Home for Good has welcomed Simon’s appointment, saying:
