In May 2024, Home for Good began working with Milton Keynes City Council to help find families who will welcome children through fostering and young people through supported lodgings.
Around 70% of the City's children in care live outside Milton Keynes and we believe that the Church is ideally placed to find local homes for local children. We want to find foster and supported lodgings homes from church communities in Milton Keynes, so children and young people can find stable and loving homes close to their schools, friends and wider support networks. This is key to enable children and young people to thrive.
