Spread the word about this event:

Together… we can find a home for every child that needs one.

Together… we can offer belonging, support and hope for isolated families in our communities.

Together… the Church can make a difference for children, young people and families.

On 16th November, we will gather together to celebrate the different ways in which churches and families across Northern Ireland are caring for children and families in our communities. We will invite others to join in with this vision and to explore what part they could play – as we seek to grow and extend our ‘together.

Following on from Home for Good’s NI Summits in 2017, 2018 and 2023, we’ll meet again this November for a day of connection, worship, inspiration and celebration. We’ll be joined by staff and volunteers from Safe Families for a shared focus on children and families. Home for Good and Safe Families are merging this Autumn to form one charity that seeks to serve churches, families and children across the UK. The Summit will provide an opportunity to mark this joining together.

If you’re a foster carer, adoptive parent, supported lodgings host or family support volunteer – the Summit is a day for you! It’s a chance to recharge, reconnect and be reminded that you’re not alone on this journey. We’re in this together.

If you are interested in exploring how you or your church can better support isolated families or find and support homes for children and young people… the Summit is a day for you!

The full NI Summit programme will be available from late September, but highlights include:

  • Stories and updates from the Home for Good and Safe Families teams and special guests
  • Seminars and opportunities to listen and learn together
  • Worship and teaching
  • Children's & teenage programmes

The event will begin with tea/coffee from 10am, with the main morning worship session beginning at 10.30am. You are invited to bring your own packed lunch or picnic but refreshments will be provided throughout the day. We’ll finish the programme at 3.30pm.

To help us with our planning, please book your place at the NI Summit as soon as possible. We’d encourage you to make a donation to the cost of the conference. We suggest a donation of £10-£15 per adult and £5 per child, but if this is too much for your family, please just donate what you feel is within your means. Equally, if you are able to donate a bit extra to help cover the costs for other families, we would welcome such generosity!
