Spread the word about this event:

Together, we hope for a society where no family feels alone, and every child has a home where they can flourish. We believe the Church is central to this vision.

This is the vision of Home for Good/Safe Families, as a recently merged charity. It’s a vision that we know is shared by our Northern Ireland family of volunteers, partner churches, champions, foster carers and adoptive parents. It’s a vision we want to see grow and shared with others.

On 18th October, we’ll gather together to reflect on this shared vision and to celebrate all that God is doing through His Church to see children and families flourish in our communities.

Our annual conference (formerly known as the NI Summit) is a special day of connection, worship, inspiration and celebration to which everyone is welcome...

  • It’s a day for foster cares and adoptive parents to recharge, reconnect and be reminded that you’re not alone on this journey.
  • It’s a day for family support volunteers to meet together and share stories of growing relationships and transformation.
  • It’s a day for church leaders and interested individuals to find out more about our mission and to explore how they and their churches might play their parts.

The full NI Summit programme will be available in September, but highlights include:

  • Stories and updates from our staff team and special guests
  • Worship and teaching
  • Children's and teenage programmes
  • Time to connect and pray together
  • A varied seminar programme including:

A taster session for our Belonging course

A focus on Neurodivergence in children

A time of nurture and restoration with Starfish Soulcare

A panel discussion: ‘Seeing children and families flourish – a vision for change in Northern Ireland’

The event will begin with tea/coffee from 10am, with the main morning worship session beginning at 10.30am. You are invited to bring your own packed lunch or picnic but refreshments will be provided throughout the day. We’ll finish the programme at 3.30pm.

To help us with our planning, please book your place as soon as possible. We’re asking for a minimum donation of £12 per adult ticket and a small donation for any children or teens that you book into their programmes for the day.
