Home for Good & Safe Families

Home for Good & Safe Families want to see children & families thrive.

Bristol City Council are responsible for nearly 770 children in care and Home for Good looks to inspire and equip the Church across Bristol, to help find local homes for children who need them.

Facing life alone is hard, therefore, at Safe Families we offer support, hope and belonging through linking children, young people and families with volunteers who can offer them help and support. We do this in partnership with Bristol City Council.

Our evening event is for anyone who wants to see children and families thrive. We shall be considering the following:

  • Journey with Home for Good towards caring for children or teenagers through fostering, adoption or supported lodgings, in their immediate or long-term future.
  • Help run a Peer Support Group for children and families with care experience
  • Volunteer with Safe Families and get equipped to be a Family Friend, a Host Family or Resource Friend and help a family to experience Hope & Belonging

We shall share stories from those who are foster carers, adoptive parents and volunteer support to families from across the city. We will talk about the local needs, the possibilities to get involved and try our best to answer your questions.

Please sign up and join us to find out what part you could play!
