Celebrating Social Workers: Banbridge
Wednesday 20 November | 10 – 11am
Celebrating Social Workers: An Appreciation Event
This is part of a short series of informal, brunch events that Home for Good and Safe Families are hosting in a few church locations across Northern Ireland. It’s open to Social Workers on fostering, adoption and STAY teams and those from other teams that support vulnerable and isolated children and families
The main focus of the event is appreciation and encouragement. We want to celebrate and thank Social Workers, who we know are often working in challenging and testing circumstances with high caseloads and stretched resources.
We’ll also take some time to briefly highlight the work of Home for Good and Safe Families and share some inspiring stories of how individuals and churches are making a positive difference in providing support for children and families.
The event will last one hour, but there’ll be time to stay on for further chat after 11am for those who don’t need to rush on to their next appointments.
If you’re a Social Worker working with children, young people or families… please come along for a cuppa, some treats and a generous helping of positive encouragement.
