Spread the word about this event:

Home for Good is gathering Christians who are passionate about caring for vulnerable children. We believe the Church is ideally placed to meet their needs by finding loving homes through fostering and adoption and ensuring that families who care are part of a supportive community.

The Home for Good Conference is a day of teaching, seminars, worship and prayer, as we explore together how we can each play our part to support vulnerable children and encourage the families who care for them. If you are a foster carer or adoptive parent, church leader or youth leader, social worker or other professional, you are considering fostering or adoption or you simply want to stand with those who do, we would love you to join us.

Adult tickets cost £16 and children and young people go FREE!

Kay Cathcart

Kay works for Cairn Movement with responsibility for developing and equipping disciples for leadership and disciple-making. She is an experienced trainer and has worked with many churches over a number of years, helping them to rediscover their missional focus. Until recently, Kay was a senior leader at Central church, Edinburgh. Kay and her husband Stuart are adoptive parents to two kids, 12 and 16, and one super-friendly border terrier.

Krish Kandiah

Krish is the founding director of Home for Good and the author of 13 books! He is an adoptive dad and a foster carer and a passionate advocate for fostering and adoption. Krish has also been published in the Times, the Guardian and is a regular broadcaster on BBC national radio.

Children and young people

A full programme of activities for children and young people aged 3-18 is in development with a wonderful team of leaders. More information about this is coming soon.

Children under the age of three will remain the responsibility of parents/carers. They can stay with you in the main hall, or there will be a separate space with toys available that has a live link to the speakers so that you don’t miss any of the programme.
