Mother's Day

Mother's Day can be a wonderful and enjoyable day, but we know that for some it can be painful and challenging. This makes it potentially difficult to navigate for church leaders who want to ensure their services are inclusive and engaging.

We have a range of films and resources available for use in services or through social media, which we hope will help you mark Mother's Day in a way that is sensitive to the full spectrum of emotions and experiences surrounding this day.

NEW for 2017...
We are producing a series of personal blogs to celebrate motherhood in all its wonderful and varied forms. These 'Glimpses of Motherhood' will hopefully enable us to recognise there is no single route to becoming a mother and no one way of being a mother. We'll be hearing from adoptive mums, birth mums, foster carers, godmothers, extended family, spiritual mothers and not-yet-mums, all of whom have a different story to share.

Use the button below to read these blogs, and this link will be updated throughout March as more blogs are published.
